More Fun in the Snow

These are a week or 2 old by now but we had more snow on top of the already ridiculous amount of snow in our yard so we took Grace outside to see if she wanted to play in it. She did not.

Someone Thinks She's Pretty Funny

Grace was eating some soup and accidentally exhaled when she should have been sipping. The results were pretty amusing to her so she tried to recreate it over and over again.

Happy New Year!

For New Years Eve this year, we all went over to Scott's place for a NYE party. Kaitlyn and Olivia were there and so were Uncle Tony and Aunt Heidi who gave grace a really nice stuffed elephant from their trip to Germany. Grace now has an Elephant from Germany, an Elephant from Thailand, and a "blue guy" from Japan.

Kaitlyn brought some DVDs to watch in the bedroom and one of them was Happy Feet. Grace likes watching penguins so she stopped in the room every now and then to watch a little of it. Once scene in particular got her going though.

Christmas Marathon

Our 4 day Christmas marathon began on Friday with a visit to the Ouper's annual Christmas house walk.

After a long night, it was time to go home to bed and get some rest. The next evening, it was off the Grandma and Grandpa Funke's for out annual Christmas Eve Eve dinner.

After another long night it was time to go home and get some rest. She didn't get to bed until after 9:00. The next morning we had to get up and drive back to Grandma and Grandpa Funke's so she could open some presents from Santa who made a special visit on Christmas Eve.

After some biscuits and gravy, we opened presents. Grace took on the job of handing out the gifts to everyone.

From there, we drove out to St. Charles to see Grandma and Grandpa Bihun who would be driving down to Bloomington on Christmas day.

Grace fell asleep in the car on the way home and slept like a log. After we dumped her in her crib, we set up the living room for Santa.

When she woke up the next morning, she wanted to open up another box on her advent calendar but was disappointed to learn that there were no more.
